Expanding nuclear power could help soften the blows from today's energy crisis, as nuclear power has the ability to stabilize energy inflation and also provides an emissions-free alternative that complies with carbon-emissions caps. Although opponents of nuclear power say it is too costly to expand, they must also consider the fact that coal, wind and solar power are also becoming pricier.
