Virginia chosen as part of CMS project to increase EHR adoption

Virginia will be one of the participants of a five-year two-phase Medicare project that will offer incentives to up to 100 physicians practices in the state that adopt EHRs. "Virginia's physician community recognizes the value these tools have as a vehicle for achieving our aim to deliver the highest quality of patient care," said the president of the state's Medical Society.
