BoJ needs to consider exit strategy, officials say

Some members of the Bank of Japan's policy board said the central bank needs to review economic trends as well as the corporate-financing environment to decide whether it is time to stop pouring cash into the banking system. Masaaki Shirakawa, governor of the Bank of Japan, said the institution will decide "by the end of September in a predictable manner to market participants."
