DDB replaces Campbell-Mithun on H&R Block account

Omnicom Group's DDB has taken over the creative account for H&R Block, which has charged the shop with boosting its national image. Interpublic Group's Campbell-Mithun, which handled the business for nearly a decade, lost the account without a review. New H&R Block CEO Russ Smyth has experience with DDB from his years as an executive at McDonald's.
