Lawmakers question Geithner about regulatory overhaul

Testifying before the Senate Banking Committee, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner answered lawmakers' questions about the Obama administration's proposal for sweeping changes to regulation of financial markets. Geithner defended the plan and said the country "cannot afford inaction." "Our economy has been brought too close to the brink for us to let this moment pass," Geithner said.
