NSN predict $277B potential on managed services

Telecom companies may eventually spend up to $277 billion annually for outsourcing and managed services, of which one-quarter will come from Asian markets, Nokia Siemens Networks suggested at a news briefing. While NSN executives conceded their target was probably a bit optimistic -- many carriers will retain at least some jobs in-house -- they said the surge of outsourcing showed no signs of stopping as carriers focused increasingly on providing services.
