Airline leasing company purchases 20 Airbus A380s

An airline leasing company signed an agreement to purchase 20 Airbus A380s, the world's largest passenger plane. While the purchase price of the plane is $400 million, Doric Asset Finance plans to lease the plane for only $1.8 million per month. "We'd like to think that a significant part of the order will go to operators that have not yet got the A380 in their fleet," said Paul Kent, Doric's chief commercial officer.
