Boeing confirms plans to build stretched 787

Boeing confirmed it will build a stretched version of its 787 Dreamliner, or 787-10. The aircraft manufacturer received more than 100 orders for the lengthened version at the Paris Air Show. "The 787-10 is 25% more efficient than airplanes of its size today and more than 10% better than anything being offered by the competition for the future," says Raymond Conner, the CEO of Boeing’s commercial aircraft division.
