Boston Scientific initiates study of neurostimulation device

A patient at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles became the first to be implanted with Boston Scientific's Vercise DBS System. The implantation is part of a clinical trial to test whether the neurostimulation device can be used safely and effectively to improve overall quality of life and motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease.
