CMS releases revised quality measures for MU program

CMS has released an updated table of its clinical quality measures for qualified professionals taking part in the EHR meaningful use incentive program. The measures are categorized to support the agency's six priorities, including patient safety, efficient use of resources, and patient and family engagement. "Subsequent updates will be provided in a new version of this table at least six months prior to the beginning of the calendar year for which the measures will be required, and CMS will maintain and publish an archive of each update," the agency said in its guidance document.
