Electric airplane with a little motor still has big power

The E-Fan electric airplane was designed by Didier Esteyne, in cooperation with Airbus parent EADS. It uses two small electric motors equipped with ducted fans, making the airplane lighter and cheaper without sacrificing power. Capable of aerobatics, Esteyne expects the plane to be used for flight instruction and general aviation.
