Head of ESPN predicts a "monumental" World Cup

The 2014 World Cup will "dominate" the U.S. sports conversation, according to ESPN President John Skipper. The event is likely to resonate with U.S. fans because of the enthusiasm of host country Brazil and the match times that mostly favor U.S. time zones, Skipper said at an industry event in New York. "I think it's going to be monumental, and it's our intention to leave the bar for doing the World Cup very, very high," he added.
