Many online merchants are not focusing sufficiently on mobile

About half of e-commerce merchants have not optimized their sites for mobile, and more than 4 in 5 aren't separating and analyzing mobile sales figures from overall digital sales, according to a report by TransFirst and ControlScan. Given the fact that mobile accounts for as much as a quarter of online traffic for many merchants, those that aren't focusing on the platform "should be responding to the increasing number of mobile shoppers," said David Abouchar, senior director of product management at ControlScan.
