Proposed House bill could end DOL fiduciary-duty efforts

A bill before the House Financial Services Committee would force the Department of Labor and Securities and Exchange Commission to work together on fiduciary-duty rules. If passed, the bill could halt the DOL's efforts completely, some analysts say, citing some language in the bill written by Rep.
