Report: 60% of family physicians work with NPs, PAs, CNMs

A policy brief in the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine said a survey of more than 5,800 family physicians found almost 60% work with nurse practitioners, physician assistants or certified nurse midwives. The brief said these caregiver teams, working in a patient-centered medical home model, "are likely essential to meeting the future health needs of all Americans."
