Survey: Many patients want services through mobile devices

More than a third of Internet users said they were "extremely" or "very" interested in using their mobile phones or tablet computers to communicate with their physicians, set appointments or receive test results, according to a Harris Interactive/HealthDay survey. The study documented a similar level of interest in using such devices for medical services including checking blood glucose and blood pressure.
