UK study: Mindfulness programme can curb students' stress

Participation in a mindfulness programme helped lower children and teens' stress levels and depressive symptoms, particularly during the exam season, according to a UK study in The British Journal of Psychiatry. Researchers also noted improvements in well-being of students who participated in the programme.
