Consumer Goods Forum establishes wellness initiatives

The Consumer Goods Forum set forth several health and wellness initiatives for its member companies, including developing consistent product labels to improve consumer knowledge by 2018 and ceasing advertising of non-nutritious foods to children younger than 12. "The consumer goods industry acknowledges its role in the health and wellness of society, the issues around it, and the imperative need for actions," said Paul Bulcke, Nestle CEO and CGF board member.
