Expect VCs to want protective provisions

Venture capitalists and other investors want to know that they can protect their investment down the road, writes Bo Yaghmaie of Cooley LLP. "There is always room for a productive conversation but it isn’t productive or useful to take offense to the inclusion of protective provisions or to try to remove them in their entirety," Yaghmaie writes.
