With success, Warby Parker faces social-initiative challenge

Eyewear company Warby Parker has disrupted an entire industry with its online customized sales and discount pricing, but it still must invest time and resources to scale up its nonprofit partnerships to supply eyeglasses to those in need worldwide, says Anjali Kumar, company general counsel and head of social innovation. "Social initiatives are living, breathing things -- not policies that are put in place and left to grow dust," Kumar said.
