New York City Board Of Education Simply Drifts Away

The lights went out at the city's Board of Education yesterday, as the Mayor's office took control of the city's schools, a report says. Per the deal reached with state legislature, Mayor Michael Bloomberg is to appoint eight of the 13 members of the new board.
