Water flows into Big Dig tunnels, despite leak prevention

Despite promises by Big Dig managers to minimize leaks, more than 1 million gallons of water a month flowed into the project's tunnels through April of 2006, according to a Massachusetts Water Resources Authority investigation. Officials say the volume exceeds the amount of seepage that would normally be expected in such a project.
