Creativity elevates classic panna cotta

Traditional panna cotta has a simple vanilla flavor, but a number of Seattle-area chefs are adding their own special touches to this classic Italian dessert. Volterra's chef Don Curtiss flavors his version with chestnut honey, Beato's chef Nick Devine serves blood orange panna cotta with basil gelato, and Union's chef Ethan Stowell marinates fresh peaches in Muscat de Beaumes de Venise as a background for his vanilla treat.
