Patient REIT investors wait for market turnaround

REIT investors are waiting for the next wave of distressed properties to roll in and for the market to rebound, according to speakers at REITWeek 2008®. The current slump is comparable to a 23-month slide between 1997 and 1999, but international REITs are starting to see an uptick in investments, according to NAREIT executives.
