Financial planning can boost happiness, studies show

Two recent surveys show that solid financial planning can increase feelings of overall happiness. In a study from insurer Aviva, individuals with financial plans in place had a stronger sense of confidence and self-esteem, regardless of earnings level. In addition, a study in Canada conducted on behalf of the Financial Planners Standards Council showed that those who received financial advice were happier overall.
