Mulva: Americans will request improved spill-response measures

James Mulva, CEO of ConocoPhillips, expects the American public to demand "better response capability" from the oil and gas industry in the aftermath of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. "We believe that the technologies can be developed, and they need to be developed, because the response is inadequate," he said during a conference in Russia.
