Senate passes bill that would delay Medicare fee cuts until Nov. 30

The Senate on Friday passed a bill that would delay the 21% reduction to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule until Nov. 30 and offer providers a 2.2% increase in payments. However, Medicare on Friday said it will begin processing claims received for June at the lower rate because the House can't vote on the measure until it returns this week.
