Bridge to open as Phase 1 of $500M project in Washington ends

The first phase of a $500 million, three-part project in Washington state to deal with traffic congestion and dangerous connections between Interstate 5 and Route 16 will be completed this week in Nalley Valley when a 1,060-foot bridge opens. The structure was assembled in midair from 112 concrete sections.
