Southern California Edison talks distributed generation

Advancing technology in energy conservation and smart grid projects requires a re-architecture effort for today's power grid networks, according to Southern California Edison. "Now we come along and have ambitious plans to connect these neighborhood power plants, and we're plugging them right into distribution circuits, and the first thing that happens is power flows in both directions," SCE's Gil Alexander said.
