$1.8B I-595 widening: Fla.'s first P3 expansion project

The $1.8 billion makeover of Interstate 595 in Florida, which is slated to be completed "as much as three months ahead of the March 2014 deadline," is the state Transportation Department's first public-private partnership with a design-build contract.
