Boeing to deliver 737 Max earlier than planned, exec says

Boeing announced at the Paris Air Show that the aircraft manufacturer will deliver its 737 Max six months earlier than originally scheduled. Scott Fancher, Boeing vice president of airplane development, said the company will deliver the first 737 Max to Southwest Airlines by the third quarter of 2017. "The right thing to do was to implement the acceleration we had planned," he said.
