Cardboard bike is green, inexpensive and does the job

A $9 cardboard bicycle may not sound promising, but this two-wheeler is plenty sturdy, light, waterproof and can support a rider up to 20 times its 28-pound weight. Israeli mechanical engineer Izhar Gafni touts the affordability and green credentials of his bike but notes "the only issue is to make it have a softer ride," promising a shock absorber system within the year.
