DNA test shows efficacy in finding colorectal cancer, polyps

A blood test for levels of a microRNA called miR-21 accurately identified up to 92% of patients with colorectal cancer and up to 82% of those with advanced polyps, Baylor University researchers report in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
