Most clients come from referrals, advisers say

A vast majority of financial advisers say they brought in more clients than they lost in 2012, and most came through referrals, not social media, according to a study by Russell Investments. Social media and seminars are the marketing tools least popular among advisers, the Russell Financial Professional Outlook says.
