The value of accepting credit card payments is clear, as research shows nearly 7 in 10 millennials say they only shop at businesses that allow them to pay with plastic. The majority of small-business owners say they would rather accept payments made with cash or checks, but SCORE mentor Bern Lefson advises allowing for alternative payment methods.
