Survey: For a price, consumers ready to share personal data

A majority of consumers are willing to share their personal data with marketers if they get something in return, such as cash or perks, according to a survey of 3,900 consumers carried out by Coleman Parkes for Amdocs. "The results of this survey indicate that fears about unwillingness on the part of consumers to share personal data have been overblown in the industry," said Ian Parkes of Coleman Parkes.
