Ohio food industry execs explore sustainable seafood

Restaurant owners, grocery buyers and chefs gathered at a Northeastern Ohio sustainable seafood event that encouraged industry executives to explore less-harvested seafood varieties, such as perch caught in Lake Erie. "There's nothing better than a sustainable fish from your own region," says Sheila Bowman of Seafood Watch. "If we all take a step in the right direction, it can have a pretty big impact."
