Longest-serving member of NTSB to retire

When National Transportation Safety Board member John J. Goglia retires Sunday, the board will lose its longest-serving member and the only airline mechanic ever to have served. Goglia warned that his departure means the NTSB won't have the technical expertise it had previously, but chairwoman Ellen Engleman Connors disputed that claim.
