Program helps hotel employees learn English

The Hotel English program being implemented at the Registry Resort and Club in Naples, Fla., and several other hotels in the area helps employees get the language skills they need to communicate with guests and colleagues. But the program, funded by a federal Career Advancement and Retention Challenge grant, also is beneficial for hotels because it helps retain workers in positions with high turnover rates.
