Hotels cook up more choices for free breakfasts

Hotels are expanding their complimentary breakfast offerings to include a broader selection and healthier menu choices, as well as more stylish dining areas. Hampton Inn has poured $14 million into its effort to include hot items in its breakfast choices, and breakfast upgrades have also been seen at chains including SpringHill Suites, Marriott's Residence Inn and Holiday Inn Express.
