Mid-Western Aircraft opens for business after Onex purchase

Mid-Western Aircraft Systems opened for business last week after Onex closed its purchase of Boeing's commercial aircraft unit, The Wichita Eagle reported. Mid-Western is now the largest independent aircraft structure supplier. Chief executive Jeff Turner expects the company's transition to take six months. He is also marketing Mid-Western's products to potential customers.
