Cabinet rejects changes in Australia cloning policy

Australia's Cabinet has agreed to reject the recommendations of a special committee and maintain a ban on reproductive cloning. The same panel recommended that therapeutic cloning continue to be allowed, but with strict regulations. Members of Parliament are expected to discuss the issue when they resume meeting in August.
