Singapore aims to become world's most-connected nation

Singapore's Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts yesterday announced an ambitious government plan to make Singapore tops in broadband deployment. The plan, called "Intelligent Nation 2015," calls for the completion of a nationwide wireless broadband network by 2007 and a superfast wired broadband network by 2012.
