Early studies show promise in treating Parkinson's

A pair of early studies are suggesting initial success in treating Parkinson's disease, one by using a harmless virus to deliver a gene to the brains of trial participants. In a separate trial, researchers designed a drug with the ability to block an enzyme that damages neurons, leading to Parkinson's.
