Google builds $600M Iowa data center

Search engine giant Google is in the process of building a $600 million data center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The data center, due to open in the spring of 2009, is being built on a 55-acre site and comes after a new law was passed to upgrade the state's tax system for computer-related businesses.
