Researchers develop technology to address foot drop

Canadian scientists have developed a pacemakerlike device designed to treat "foot drop," a condition marked by a partially paralyzed foot, in stroke victims and those with neurological conditions. Called Neurostep, the device can be implanted in the thigh to stimulate leg muscles to move.
