ADHD drugs don't affect children's growth, study finds

A study found that neither attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder nor prescription drugs used to treat the condition have a long-term effect on children's height or weight. One expert said stimulants may have a temporary effect on delaying growth when treatment is first started, but this research shows the effect is erased over time.
