Analysts are upbeat about RIM, but say rivals are closing in

Research in Motion's BlackBerry phones continue to sell well in the U.S., and especially abroad, say analysts who predict RIM will report a solid quarter Thursday. But some Wall Streeters are concerned that competition has begun to eat away at RIM's market share. "While RIM's growth has been fueled by international and consumer growth, we see increasing challenges on these fronts as Android adoption continues at a brisk pace," Citigroup's Jim Suva wrote to clients last week.
