Corporate-bond sales rebound as investor confidence returns

Investors' confidence in the corporate-bond market is starting to return as fears of contagion from Europe's sovereign-debt issues appear to be subsiding. Asset-backed bonds are showing signs of life as firms such as Ally Bank and Banco Santander have successfully issued bonds. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and oil giant Total also have taken part in the upswing in the market.
