Fed adopts rules regarding pay policy at banks

The Federal Reserve is striving to curtail compensation practices at financial institutions. The central bank adopted rules giving regulators greater authority over the way banks pay their employees. "Many large banking organizations have already implemented some changes in their incentive compensation policies, but more work clearly needs to be done," said Federal Reserve Governor Daniel Tarullo.
